Good news for Adrian
There is good news for both Fiorentina and their stiker Adrian Mutu as the former Chelsea man recovers from a knee operation.
According to Calciomercato, the Romanian international will begin his rehabilitation within the next few days and return in time for the final stages of the Serie A season. He last played for the Viola in their 1-0 win over Tuscan rivals Siena, scoring the winning goal.
Professor Pierpaolo Mariani today checked up on the player, who is recovering in Rome, and announced that the Viola star should be able to return to the line-up in approximately one month.
Mutu has once again been a key figure for Fiorentina this season, finding the back of the net 13 times in 19 Serie A appearances. His presence is potentially crucial for coach Cesare Prandelli as his team chase fourth-placed Genoa in a bid for Champions League qualification.
