Giampaolo Pazzini and Paolo Osvaldo have been in reports for the last few months and their departures seem imminent with the transfer window upon us.

This could give Andrea Caracciolo a chance to link up with Adrian Mutu and Alberto Gilardino in the Viola attack for the second part of the 2008/2009 Serie A season.

The transfer rumour mill seems to consider Caracciolo as a viable replacement for one of the outgoing strikers in Florence.

Palermo, Sampdoria, Bologna and Torino are all reportedly following Pazzini, who has reportedly handed in a transfer request, so that he can move in search of more playing time.
