Fiorentina denies, through a note published on its website, that Adrian Mutu could leave the team, Director of Fiorentina Pantaleo Corvino explains,: “Concerning the statement issued yesterday by Radio Radio, I find it absurd that a different interpretation has been given to my words which referred only to Fiorentina’s next market in July and not specifically the footballer Adrian Mutu; with regards to the player the matter was closed when Fiorentina and Mutu signed a contract until 2012″.

The director of Fiorentina had said: “The market will re-open, those who did not have the space they deserved or hoped for could leave. We will put a couple of players on the market”.
