After a briliant 2007/2008 season for Fiorentina, Romanian star striker Adrian Mutu has been suffering from a number of injuries this time around, and he’s only been able to make five appearences so far in Serie A. ”At the moment I feel good,” the former Chelsea player said. ”I am ready to return, and this time I won’t allow anything to stop me. The last time I came back it was too soon, but I still scored three goals before I got injured again.”

On the possibility of playing as a playmaker, Mutu said : ”The last time I played there was 15 years ago, and I don’t have the same qualities now. I feel like a second striker and there are other players more suited to the playmaker role.”
