Steaua defended well to secure a 0-0 draw at the Artemio Franchi, grabbing theirfirst point in Championc League Group F on Tuesday.

However, it was a poor match involving many mistakes in miedfield and neither side created any truly dangerous attacks. Fiorentina dominated the game for the most part, but neither Alberto Gilardino nor adrian Mutu could not get on the scoresheet. In the end, the scoreline echoed what was seen in the pitch.
